About

Every year, the United Way Club, leads, organizes, and fundraises $20,000 to take 45 middle school girls from inner-city Detroit to Washington, DC cost-free to visit monuments, museums, and meet with government officials to promote women’s empowerment and the pursuit of higher education. We have successfully planned, executed, and fundraised $40,000 for trips during summer 2018 and 2019 a significantly positive impact.
