United Way of Washtenaw County Varsity Letter Program

The United Way of Washtenaw County’s Varsity Letter in Community Service recognizes high schoolers for outstanding volunteer work during the year by presenting them with a varsity letter in community service. Students must complete 145 hours of volunteer work from May 1 to April 30. Students are awarded a varsity letter at the United Way of Washtenaw to recognize their exceptional community service efforts. High school seniors are eligible to apply for the Labor and School Community Service Scholarship through this program.

WIHI Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service

The United Way Club organized a service day for the school community on January 20, 2019. The activities included sorting snacks for children in domestic violence shelters and assembling denim shoes for Ugandan children.

Lost and Found at WIHI

We collect lost and found items for WIHI and donate the items to those in need every month.
